Reliance Jio will soon launch a new 4G capable notebook market with a special 4G SIM, a new report suggests.
According to a report in PhoneRadar, the company is working on a Jio-powered laptop. The laptop is said to be similar to Apple’s design, the 13.3-inch MacBook Air.
In terms of specifications, the new laptop is expected to come with a 13.3-inch Full HD display with 16:9 along with support for 4G, it will also come with an HD camera for video calling.
The report also says that the laptop will be equipped with a chiclet keyboard and has a magnesium alloy casing and does not have a cooling fan. The Jio laptop also expected to come with a quad-core Intel premium processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD expandable to 64GB via EMMC storage. On connectivity front, it can offer 4G, LTE, Bluetooth, HDMI port, two USB ports and a microSD card slot.
PhoneRadar claims that Jio can be negotiating with Taiwanese manufacturer of Foxconn contract to start their production.
