Manjima Mohan Wiki, Biography


Manjima Mohan was born in 1993 to Vipin Mohan and Kalamandalam Girija. Her father is an cinematographer, and her mother accomplished dancer. She had her education at Nirmala Bhavan High School in Trivandrum, Kerala. She later took a bachelor’s in mathematics from Stella Maris College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As her father was a cinematographer by profession, talking about movies was very much there in her home. In addition, she developed an affinity for the dance because of the influence of her dancer mother.

Actress Manjima Mohan is nothing new in the world of cinema. She is active as a child artist from 1998 to 2002 and she made her first celluloid appearance at the age of 5 years in the film Kaliyoonjal. In this film, she played the childhood character of Shobhana. She continued to work for another three years, as a child artist.

She recently received her first award for AYM from Edison awards.

In 2016 she won Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist.

Sathriyan and Ippadai Vellum are the upcoming Tamil movies of Manjima Mohan in 2017.
