Kishore Kumar was ‘master’ in all trades – his deep voice that could breathe life into any collection of music and lyrics, his antics while writing these songs, or a screen presence that gave him the epithet of an actor, who could also do comedy. In addition to being a great singer, multi-faceted Kishore kumar boasted many other talents, such as acting, composer, producing, directing and screenwriting.
The singer and legendary yoddler, in his illustrious career, has become synonymous with songs that exceeded generations of music lovers and, to date, continued to enthrall the masses. Songs like “Khaiyke Paan Benaras Wala’, ‘Iss Mod Se Jaatey Hain’ ,’ Yeh Shaam Mastani’, and ‘Tum Aa Gaye Ho’ among others have shown their skills as a singer, who did not take any training in classical music.
Kishore Kumar, along with R D Burman, formed a formidable team, which provided a hit whenever they came together.
